Powers: Karen was born with the power to transform into any animal, excluding humans. Her only human form is the one she was born in. She can transform with freedom, taking a fast 30 seconds on average to completely change forms. Although she is a shapeshifter, she can only stay in any animal form for up to four hours at a time. If she stays in the form longer than that, she will slowly start to transform back to human. For example, if she had been in wolf form for more than four hours, the fur will slowly become shorter and her ears will go from wolf to human, ect. This will happen over the period of about 15 minutes, give or take some due to the conditions of the circumstance. Proceeding the transformation after the four hours, she has to wait one hour before transforming back into an animal form. Along with her ability to shapeshift, she also has accelerated healing powers and she has amazing night vision. She is a very fast learner, but she is unsure if this is a power of hers, or just that her brain is build to absorb new skills better than the average brain.
Affiliation: None
Allegiance: Evil, but usually follows commands from the current higher power she's working for, so she doesn't normally lash out on her own accord.
Weapons/Equipment: Karen is most comfortable using her powers as her weapon, but otherwise she prefers knives, especially her Bowie Knives. She has limited training with guns.
Skills: Karen is a hand-to-hand combat expert, and although she usually works for other villains, she has very strong leadership qualities.
Through the Looking Glass
Universe: Marvel
Personality: Wolverine raised his daughter with the kind of love and kindness that only Wolverine can give someone. Karen picked up a bit of Wolverine's quirky personality, but she mostly takes after her mother. She has a bit of Wolverine's looks, but the main thing she inherited from him is his attitude. She isn't afraid of a fight, and she'll tell anyone to fuck off if they are bothering her. She is fairly rude, and will start a fight just for the thrills. She doesn't restrain often when it comes to hurting others, and this often results in the death of pretty much everyone who gets on her last nerve.
With all that aside, Karen does have a soft side, but only a select few get to see it. She can be caring and she hides a lot of emotions under that hard mask she's built up to cover them over the years. She's a hopeless romantic, and the fact she's quite a looker helps her get places.
Her usual villainess attire consists of a black cat-suit (which she fondly calls her Spy-Suit), and knee-high black leather boots. She wears a lot of black makeup, and occasionally wears a black cape to complete her outfit if she feels like dressing up.
History: Karen Elizabeth Howlett was born to James Howlett and Clara Williams. Her father is Wolverine, and her mother is a shapeshifter. Clara died shortly after Karen's birth, and she never knew her mother. All she knows about her mother, is that she got her gift of shapeshifting from her, and that her mother was a mutant, just like Wolverine was.
Wolverine wasn't extremely present in Karen's life as a child. He was out a lot, and she learned to take care of herself at a young age. Around the age of seven, she stuck out of the house and followed her father on one of his missions. She hid behind some boxes as she watched her father and a man she had never seen before fight. She became scared when the man pulled out a gun and shot her father in the chest. He fell to his knees, and the attacker loomed over him. Karen cried out to her father, rushing to his side. Wolverine looked up at his crying daughter, and she looked at his chest, which had healed over. She smiled and hugged her father, but the fight was not over. The attacker instead turned to Karen and pointed the gun at her. Wolverine swept her up just as the man pulled the trigger. The bullet missed her, and Wolverine sprouted his claws and sliced right through the neck of the man. He fell to the floor, dead with a pool of blood coming from his throat. Wolverine retracted his claws and grabbed his daughter. Karen clutched to her father and he took her home. She wanted to know how her father had knives in his hands, and she wanted to know if she had them too. Wolverine didn't know how to tell a little seven year old about his powers, so instead he taught her how to use knives herself. Karen learned very fast, and feels that knives are like her connection to her father, and it's a thing they will always share.
She was raised by her father up until the age of 14, when her father left her in the hands of the academy so he would continue his private missions. When she trained at the academy, she became a model student and learned how to control her powers with ease very early into her training. She didn't become close with many people at the academy while she was there. Two of those people were Charles Xavier and Aaron Wintergreen. Charles became like an uncle to Karen as he took special care of her while her father was gone. Aaron was her first and only best friend at the academy. He could control plants, and she fell in love with him during her second year at the academy. Later that year he lost control of his powers and ended up strangling himself with a grapevine while he was controlling it. His death left Karen in a state of distress, and she then proceeded to run away from the academy.
Almost four years after running from the academy, Karen has made a name for her in the world of villains. She took on the name BlackHawk, and she is now a villainess, working for and with other villains for common interests, such as taking down a rival group or person. She still sees her father occasionally, but it's never a great family reunion, speaking they work for different sides of the story.
Right now, BlackHawk is idling on her career as a villainess. She is living in New York City, and working as a waitress in a night club. Karen is waiting for the right time to rise back up as BlackHawk, but little does she know, that time is now.
Occupation: Waitress at a night club/villainess

Her eyes searched the dark landscape for any signs of movement, but she saw nothing. Her black leather boots made a consistent click-clacking sound on the pavement. Her stride was strong and confident as she walked through the darkness. She took a long drag on her cigarette, and let the smoke pour out from between her slightly parted lips out into the chill evening air. She was almost there. Only a new more miles to go. she thought. It felt weird to be wearing her cat-suit again, instead of her customary black pencil skirt and blouse, which was the required uniform at the club. She breathed in the crisp air and sighed. She crushed the lit end of her cigarette onto the bottom of her heel and let it fall from her fingers onto the sidewalk. She sighed and walked into a deserted alleyway. She stepped into the total darkness. She didn't really want to do this, but she was late. She undressed completely, folding her cat-suit and placing it in her shoulder bag. She felt the cold breeze on her nude body, which only made the urge to get going even more prominent. She then draped the bag over her shoulder, and raised her arms above her head and brought them down in one strong fluid motion. She felt the rush, and the aching pain that she had grown to love. Karen felt the air rush around her, as she took off into the night. This is how I roll..
