Marvel Rise to Power
Whether we are human, mutant, or possess special abilities and talents, we all reside together, and we all must learn to live in peace.
X-men
Professor Charles Francis Xavier had a dream in mind when he founded his school for gifted youngsters. He dreamed of harmony between mutant and humankind and intends to take the steps so that humans do not fear mutants. His school is open to all, mutant, superhuman, human alike, if anyone needs help he offers it. His plan however has not gone as he envisioned it, and violence has broken out for those who are different, because of this he has formed a group called the X-men. These men and women possess powers and have learned through normal living and life experiences how to control those powers. Professor Xavier believes this group can help protect those who cannot protect themselves and defend against those who choose to bring chaos to others. These X-men are also staff members for his school teaching young mutants the basics in education as well as how to control their powers so they can use them without hurting themselves or others.

Avengers Coast To Coast
And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes and heroines found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born—to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Through the years, their roster has prospered, changing many times, but their glory has never been denied! Heed the call, then—for now, the Avengers Assemble! The Avengers consist of several branches including the Mid-West and Great Lakes Avengers. Primary headquarters are located in New York (East Coast Avengers) and California (West Coast Avengers) -- both of which shuttle to one another when a quinjet cannot be used. The Avengers have a rotating roster that is always active. Each team consists of eight superheroes. The members are considered active world-wide and welcome at all Avengers facilities in North America. Hence one day you might see Spidey fighting crime in New York and by Saturday, you could find him in Los Angeles. Each base has a leader and unique co-lead. The East Coast Avengers are primary overseen by Captain America, whereas Hawkeye and Mockingbird oversee the West Coast Avengers compound. The Avengers as a whole are co-op with their sister teams around North America. They also offer aide and back up to other superhero organizations such as The X-Men and The Fantastic Four. Below you will find the most notable and active Avengers.
